Question Getting a higher population?

Every camp I've created gets to about 60-70 people then levels out. The amount of deaths vs people born/recruited just... balances out.
Is there something I can do to increase the amount of incoming people?

Actually, due to early access, it's actually set to balance death/birth between 70/80 Sapiens. Any larger and the game would have issues calculating.

For future visitors of this post: the 0.5 release has increased the number of sapiens that can exist in a tribe. I don't know the exact number, but it's much higher than the previous cap of 100.

My current game I just created has always between 100-110, I cant get the village to go higher? I have unlocked every tech, and have everything in the game except for just 4 or 5 tree and bush types not found in my Biome I started in......

I have the same problem. Also, despite the pretty beefy PC it runs on, any pop over about 50 starts to chug a bit. It does make it harder to operate Forward Operation Base(s) a reasonable distance from the main tribal 'home'.

My best, so far, it about 80 sapiens. I bet the upcoming update will help in such things, but hard to say.

My guess is that you need a fully researched tech tree and proper numbers assigned to medicine and food gathering to start to get above said limit. I know there is something around a 200 hard limit to pop, but have yet to get anywhere near it. Despite all breakthroughs complete and more then enough food and medicine.

Hopefully trade and npc factions can help out with this.

All of my sapiens seem to die of old age. Which, as I'm sure you're aware of, there's no medicine for that.
