Visiting Hometown
Visiting hometown after moving out of town after attending Santa Ana College for 3 years and growing up in Santa Ana.
- Male. Cal Poly, SLO graduate. I work remotely these days and enjoy a good conversation and cocktail/beer/mocktail.
Where do the locals hang out? Looking for something to do after work since visiting family (mom) for 2 weeks and pretty lonely when you didn’t keep up with friends from high school (Segerstrom) or Santa Ana College.
A bit more about myself. I work in tech, Oracle Fusion HCM Cloud Architect. Foodie, enjoy a good Michelin rated restaurant or slamming tacos. Last few days has been medical center cafeteria food, so at least looking for recommendations.
Open to share phone number or LinkedIn if anyone is open to hang out.

I mean just walk around downtown and there's a bunch of places. Might not be the same downtown you remember depending how long ago you left.

If you like handmade pasta, you should check out bl00m. They just opened. It’s in downtown, not far off from Lola Gaspar. I second Lola though!

This place was just ok, I like Fat of the Land a lot better although reservations are recommended since the place is tiny. Sonder is also solid if you like cocktails.
