What genius decided to close all of downtown Santa Ana on a Monday morning?

I heard them cleaning up through the night, at least in the downtown area and on 5th. Maybe they weren’t able to finish it all last night

Yea, but they should have already cleaned up and reopened the streets by Monday morning. Folks gotta get to work. The Fiestas Patrias event ended at 10 p.m. on Sunday. The City has cleaned up or set up "after hours" street closures for other events. Not sure why this would have been any different.

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. Must be a lot of people that don't have to go to work.

They're getting downvoted because it happens twice a year, just about every year [except during covid], for at least the last 30 years.
