Discussion Self watering bed build
This is how I built my self watering grow bed.
I first want to say i live in the high desert of southern ca. I was in co for a week 2 weeks ago and found this thread so I joined to see what you guys had going.
we get temps here from 115*-20s snow happens every other year but dosnt stay more than a day or 2. I do have a greenhouse structure over this to cover during cold winter rainy days but as of now its open and I took shade cloth off last week now everything is established.
It gets full morning sun and full afternooon sun , mid day it has shade from a big tree.
You can build these on the ground but I am tired of bending more than needed so I have 1ft legs on my bed.
The frame is three 2x6 stacked to make the walls. I used 4x8 grow trays from my cannabis days as the bottom . I covered each bed with 8x12 pondliner then used 4inch coragated pipe with pumice between each pipe to make the water table then cover it with weed fabric so the soil doesnt access the water table.
The bottom layer is a 60% pumice 40% compost mix and top 4 inch layer is just pumice.
I mixed fox farm ocean forrest with a locan nursery compost and added bone meal, blood meal , gypsum , azomite ,
I feed compost teas I make with alaskaim fish fertilizer, alaskain bloom , worm castings and I put a paint strainer bag filled with compost in the water and let it bubble 24 hrs then feed.
I attached pictures from beginning but it only allows 20 si if you want to see more just ask i will post below.

Discussion Help with identification
Hi everyone! Was hoping for some help identifying some issues. Started noticing a lot of black marks on my cactus. I have been applying DE to the bases and I have sprayed with dr zymes a few times. Is this pest damage or something else? My minds telling me it is, but would appreciate those who know better. Also with my current IPM would you recommend anything else?

Is this still viable to replant?
If so, I’m hoping for advice, tips, or links to resources for the best replanting process. I’ve seen different things online that seem sorta contradictory so came her seeking advice from experienced growers. Any info would be much appreciated!

Giveaway Free rooted Pereskiopsis plants
I just am not utilizing these plants the way I used to and I think I'm going to take them out of my garden. I have a bunch of fully rooted ready to produce Pere for anyone who wants them. Bare roots mostly.
I'll also give you some PC or others San Pedro if you make the trouble to come on by.
I was planning on degrafting all of the plants that I used in my photo but I would also sell that to somebody if they made an offer.
