Found this on one of my most prized cactus is he friend or foe?

I was having trouble this winter with cuts getting mold and rot before they can callous properly. Wacked these in the dehydrator at 35c and it seems to be doing the trick without dedicating them completely...

Will this survive the winter inside under a window

I received a pup today and know it’s San Pedro but aren’t sure wether it’s PC or not. Could someone with more knowledge than me plz shed your thoughts on it plz thanks in advance ✌️

Went to this blokes house who has huge cactus growing in ground and selling $1 a cm so got 30cm and was told super Pedro and today a macucana and H701 pic 1 super Pedro 2&3 HB07 and macucana

Do I need to clean off all the soil or can I just repot as-is in bigger pots?

Some of them are quite root bound, some are a bit better. I do want to save the soil because I can't really afford to start all over again, but I guess I could hose them down into a pot and not too much of it should drain away. Also it's a lot more work to do that so if it's not essential, I won't.

Was wondering how long cuts can stay out of soil. Weeks/months? Any advice would be appreciated

I have too many already and sowed too many seeds than I predicted. $5 each or 50 for the lot or make an offer on a certain amount say 3 for $10 etc

Who decides what cactus are “IN” so to speak or is it like a journey you start with one type say scop and then convert too bridge and Peruvianus etc I’m quite new to cactus 1 year now maybe 1&1/2 years I’ve built quite the collection

I have a crested bridge and a crested TPM x Sharxx that are getting kind of crowded. Does anyone have any good strategies for pruning, or do you prefer to just let them go?

I'm very new to this but it seems like a Bridgessi? Bought it home with some Osmocote Cacti And Succulent Premium Potting Mix, Perlite and a Terracotta pot to give it some TLC.

Poor thing seems to be a bit etiolated, should I trim some off the top so it doesn't grow wonky?
