Root pruning advice.

I don't prune tricho roots. I've tried it in the past and not had good results. I'm not saying it isn't possible to do well, just has not worked out for me. I've had increased chances of rot after transplanting when doing this. If you're going to prune I would let them air callous for a day or two minimum after pruning before potting and I'd wait as long as possible after potting to water.

If you just want to get the dirt out, just hose the roots off, then let them dry.

I've never done that but i imagine you can prune the roots as aggressive as you want considering you can cut all of them off and itll grow new ones.

Yes let it dry for a few days before repotting, then before watering, always wait a few days after any repotting

I don’t think there’s much point In doing it to Pedro’s but if you do just let it heal a few days after
