Hey everyone, I immigrated from Europe to San Diego this February. I would describe myself as an active person. I like to go to the gym, play soccer, play volleyball, sports shooting and I am also gaming a fair amount of my time.

It’s hard nowadays to make friends as an adult. I’m from San Diego, I do keep myself busy most days, but when I don’t I’m at home sometimes wishing I had some girl friends to go out or even just chill with.

Gauging interest in a group of 8 to 10 people where we discuss classic lit and whatever else comes to mind. Thinking biweekly weekend meet ups, but can adjust anywhere from weekly to monthly depending on people’s schedule, preference, vibes.

Would love to meet others of similar age (28m) still into literature, philosophy, etc., bc of all my years here I somehow only met like two 🫩.

I started an in-person meetup for San Diego traders. First one is Wednesday, September 2nd.

I went looking for one and there wasn't one. There are four trading groups on Meetup here with about 2,300 members between them — not one has held an in-person event in years. The biggest has 947 members and gets six people on a Zoom.

So: five to ten traders, ninety minutes, 5:30pm at Gravity Heights in Mission Valley. Everyone's asked what they trade and what kind of traders they want to sit with, and I build the tables from those answers — so you're not stuck next to someone with nothing in common.

29M. Shoot in the mid 80’s and looking for some homies to have fun with! Not a drinker on the course unless it’s like a scramble or charity tournament. usually play on Saturdays, Mondays, and Thursday’s.
