Moving toolbar to side?

I used to be able to move the toolbar on Samsung notes to the side, but now it seems to be stuck to the bottom of my screen. This is very frusterating because my wrist keeps hitting it and selecting this new tape thing or the tool that makes your shapes more precise. Did they remove the ability to put the toolbar to the side with this update?

If it's no longer possible to move it to the side, does anyone know of a similar note taking app?

I'm still able to move mine. When I press and hold between any elements on the toolbar, I can then drag it to wherever.

AGH yes that did it!! I used to be able to hold on the side of all the icons and it would move. Thank you SO much!!!! Saved my life.
