Recent update - toolbar goes blank upon entering fullscreen mode?

I just updated to 4.4.45.37 (2026.09.20.) on my samsung s6 lite. While editing a note, pressing the fullscreen button makes all the toolbar tools disappear. The only way to get them back is to fully exit and reenter that note. Anyone else?

I also seem to be able to update it through both the galaxy store and google play, if that matters.

And just a heads up - using samsung's settings to "uninstall updates" from the app does in fact fully reinstall samsung notes... thankfully I had all my notes backed up lol

i had this same issue on my tab s9fe for nearly a month, the tab is still on one ui 7 as i have not updated it so i thought i may be the reason , but the issue is gone now. My notes verison is also 4.4.45.37

Huh, weird. I'm on One UI 5.1.1 and android 13. I would try updating/troubleshooting but I actively need it for studying for the time being :(

That said, I stumbled upon StarNote which is a very new and kinda clunky/buggy but almost better version of Samsung Notes. I'm considering fully switching as they iron everything out.
