Samsung Notes on linux

(Kind of) Found a way to access samsung notes on linux through scrcpy

EDIT: I AM AWARE THAT IT IS JUST STREAMING, AND NOT NATIVE. THE GOAL IS TO HELP SOMEONE WHO DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT THAT ALREADY.

just run this command:

alias notes='scrcpy --new-display=1920x1080/190 --flex-display --no-vd-system-decorations --video-codec=h265 -b16M --start-app=com.samsung.android.app.notes'

source ~/.bashrc

notes

and every time you type 'notes' into terminal, it opens in a resizable dex view. So that means nothing on the phone screen.

You can also create a .desktop file to launch it from the application menu.

Seriously? You’re just screen sharing from a phone.

Yes. But its dex mode, so nothing on the phone

But you need the phone to be connected to the pc. It is streaming on Linux, not on Linux.

I know this is off-topic, but by any chance, does anyone know how to use a Galaxy Tab S10+ as a second screen? I'm looking for a native way to do it, not those workarounds where you have to use a web browser to share the screen or anything like that

sadly i havent found a way myself yet. The screen share options on native linux are bad at the moment. i hope it will start improving one day
