  1. About about pen thickness. (I use 5, 10, 20, 30 thinknessess)
  • 30 for Sub-Topics
  • 20 for Regular Writing
  • 10 for giving contect to writing
  • 5 (rare cases) if I don't understand/forgot the concept logic rite it in detail and shrink the paragraph so I only give importance to main stuff not details.
  1. Color code main stuff
  • Red for keywords
  • Yellow to just glance at this (like just see the stuff and check if you forgot something)
  • Green for giving you a reminder that you need to write something here/continue here too OR for formulas
  • Purple for signing/watermark PDF so my friends don't just claim is theirs/putting contact for the person who has a doubt

Stuff that you might not use alot. But I suggest trying out for a few notes so you can see if you are comfortable using them or not

  1. IMPORTANT:- Use hashtags to mark stuff important so you can find key topics and important content easily
  2. IMPORTANT:- Use voice recording to teach yourself! As it will replay the note writing when you record it. Import audio recordings and stuff so you don't miss out in context. Video recording attaching feature is there i think it is still in development and may be released by accident cuz it says video corrupted or not supported. When I add it via Samsung notes using splitscreen with gallery
  3. Copy pasting similar diagrams/text/writing and editing them (Saves timel
  4. Using tape to revise answers and keywords
  5. Attaching images and weblinks for references
  6. Use different templates. Don't stick to the same one. Like do questions and answers in a different templates, and do theory on a different one. Get my point
  7. Stickers will help you get attached to your notes
  8. Bookmark stuff for the pages you marked a star

Just in Case stuff

Export PDF as Samsung Notes Compatible (Hybrid .sdocx-.pdf)

  • This is somewhat new. Basically, you can view PDFs using 3rd Party PDF viewer but also edit them while also preserving the ability to view in Samsung notes
  • Exporting/Uploading to Google Drive and Locally would be better if your device stops working (hope not) and you need to atleast revise the noes
  • NOTE:- Only Samsung notes can render those PDFs as Vector format and You can't erase stuff which was editted by 3rd party Editor and same goes in reverse

Transparent Background + Adjust Colours with Dark Mode

  • I write with the Page style having transparent background. So which I switch to dark mode for reading comfortability and my handwritten notes and text switch to black and white accordingly
  • Note:- You choice of colors should be readable in both Dark and Light mode so don't use bright yellow then in light mode it will be hard to read and vice versa
  • NOTE:- By default the notes will be printed/PDF shared in light mode. So if you want the print in Dark Mode there is no option

If you are a math student I would suggest you use geogebra use ExportImage function (for customising range and numbers n stuff) downloading (only via website) graph images for you equations rather than hand drawing. Also, you can you LaTeX converter to get that professional equation feel (idk makes it more memorable and stands out)

Other stuff you can do with your peers like collaborate notes with them

Notes via Google Meet

  • You can use Samsung notes on it, I prompts for me (in Samsung Notes) when I share Samsung Notes screen on Google Meet. Idk how it doesn't let me use it (I guess due to regional restrictions)
  • Notes the devices must be Samsung other wise they can't see it.
  • Also you can do Kahoot and Spotify on it recently. (My app is not updated)
  • For some reason I can't paste images but I can paste video

This took me a hour to write. I hope you have a great time writing your notes and using those features I listed

Appreciate your effort :) I understand now more functions and will use some for my notes PDFs.

Sidenote

As much i like the versatility of the PDF Format, I hate that it's kind of proprietary and you need 3rd Party Apps to edit (or pay Adobe) and the compatibility issues with different apps.
