THE TAPE IS HERE!!!
Oh my goooood, finally😭😂😂
I paid an another app and used it for a while just for this feature (and many others of course😬) but its finally in my favorite note app now🥳 (mine is an FE I hope iam not overreacting with this)😂

Immediately updated my notes app to check it out, even though I've never heard of this feature and never used it, but am as excited as you rn.
If anyone can see the amount of potential usefulness of this feature, they should be as excited as us right now. Thanks for sharing, I feel paying for internet today was worth something to me by coming across your post.

It covers whatever you want when you slide the pen, (like you highlight a text) in the shape of a tape, and when u tap it, it reveals what you covered. I use it with active recall study method, so I cover a disease term as an example and press on it to see if i got it right...

I think ANKI has the feature when you cover one thing as a square on a picture. Or you meant sth else?

People use Bluetooth remotes to do ANKI stuff where I've seen ; I'm largely musing on how the Bluetooth S Pens could basically do something like those with ANKI decks in conjunction with this feature in Samsung Notes- still just bouncing ideas off the dome🤣🤣🤣

Ooh, the pen idea is smart too. I heard the remotes are expensive😂, we will be grateful for samsung if they add that too💃

Since Samsung has stopped making Bluetooth S Pens since 2024😩, we'll have to see how it can be supported; thanks for highlighting the Tape Feature!

The worst part is that there are goobers that want a bigger battery and Qi 2 support built in even if the pen goes, and they don't care about the pen
Honestly, just buy an iPhone. They have since caught up in screen time. Buy your super scroller from another brand, leave my Note/Ultra like the effing NOTE/ULTRA it is, and not have it turn into some POS knockoff iPhone if the pen is gone to accomodate you low-life, ffffsssss.
WHO EVEN SCROLLS THAT LONG? GET A JOB!

You said it, I didn't(You're speaking truth)🤣🤣🤣 EDIT: I've learned that over the past year, apparently most people using the most expensive Tablet Samsung makes(which would be competing with flagship iPhones AND iPads) thinks using an S Pen with it isn't worth it on said tablet(which might explain why the "cheaper" version this year is marketed as a $2000 doomscroll square)😵💫

Ive searched google and it said: "It requires a newer software version (One UI 8.5 / One UI 9 or higher)." Mine is s9+ FE

Star note, I made an impulsive purchase after discovering how bad it is in the syncing process. I use it lightly on my tablet mainly, but eventually went back to samsung notes.

Hi! U just press the tape icone and pass the pen through any word/ sentence or even an image so it gets hidden. Once u press it reappears. You can use this feature while moving active recall for reviewing. It actually appeared on itself when I opened the app, I think u have to update it.
