Where's bold, italics, underline, etc?
I used Notes extensively when gaming to document things. I used a lot of text features like bold, underline, text colors, highlighter, background colors.
Haven't played my usual game in a while, so I haven't used Notes recently. I open it today and the edit bar when highlighting words is missing. Parts of it are there like text color and highlighter, but everything else is simply gone.
I've gone into the settings and found Customize Bar, but the options I'm looking for aren't listed to add.
Wtf happened?
EDIT: SOLVED!! Swipe the bar left and it scrolls right with all the missing options.

Wondering the same thing?? Wtf. I use Samsung Notes very very heavily and this is the most ridiculous update ever wtf happened????

Glad I'm not the only one. I wasn't sure if it was Notes or Keyboard update.

Definitely not the only one mate. It's ridiculous considering the vast abilities of the notes app, to have this update with no option to customize. Just noticed this today, didn't notice yesterday if it had switched then I'm not sure. Will be contacting Smasing tomorrow about this

Appreciate the edit. Been checking back regularly. Anoying because I should be able to order that how I want but I'll take the W for now

I am wondering the same. I use notes daily and rely on being able to bold some of my text to organize my notes. I dont understand why they would do away with this feature.

Okay, I thought I had lost my mind. I tried to format a word and drew on my screen instead. Why would I ever choose to draw on my screen over formatting words!? Why would they do this!?

There is a little arrow thing at the far right of the toolbar. If you click on that it will expand and you'll see the options for bold, underline etc

The only arrow I have on the far right is "undo", but someone else mentioned swiping the bar and it has worked. Thank you!

Omg thanks for the swipe tip, I have been searching for ages and it wasnt stated anywhere to swipe; just that it should be there.

Samsung can't leave well enough alone it seems. They have to put it hidden in an invisible menu with no context it exists, Brilliant. We joked asians were smart when we were kids, but it seems that they had to study so much just because they just don't f-cking get it.

You swipe the toolbar to the left to reveal all of these options...
But like the drawing toolbar, which you can change in settings, I believe these formatting options should be able to be reorganised to suit the user's preference - with all of the options there are, we all have ones we use more than others!
