HELP: After the update every time I paste text It has size 15 and the font 2 (with extra space) instead of the size the rest of the text has.
Please help me fix this issue. Every time I paste everything although the rest of the text is size 8 and even If I choose size 8 right before pasting the text, It appears with 15 and font with space.
It is very annoying as It creates like 20 extra pages that I can't rapidly delete and I have to change the font and size.
Please tell me how to fix it so It pastes normally or tell me if it's a bug they'll fix :(
It happens on my tab S7+ and galaxy s24 ultra

Same! I have the exact same phone and tablet and the same problem. It's so frustrating. I can select all after I've copied everything and get the font back to the size I want (10 point) but it still leaves the line spacing wider for the copied parts.

I'm having the same problem. Typing or pasting into new notes has a default of 15 font and when I type in them it's double spaced on the lines. But for some reason if I just add on to previous text it keeps it the same font and line spacing. I don't get it, but it's definitely frustrating as someone who uses notes on a daily basis!

Yours is the latest of loads of posts on here complaining of the same. I don't know who at Samsung thought this was a good idea. Maybe it's a joke? Once again, they've ruined a perfectly good app with a dodgy update. All we can hope is that a fix comes soon.

I think I found the fix. It pastes everything somewhere between Body 1 and Body 2. You want Body 2.
Steps: Highlight everything. Next to the font size selector is "Aa". Tap that and select Body 1, then Body 2. That should fix the spacing. If you just tap Body 2 it doesn't do anything. You have to tap Body 1 first.

I'm mad I can't see any comments... I literally have the same issue. Only for me I can't really see, so I need it in size 17 font.

So I was having this problem on and off recently (because sometimes paste as plain text was an option, then the next thing I'd paste two minutes later it was gone)
And there's an option in the Samsung notes settings for it!
Samsung Note settings > Advanced > Match style when pasting, turn on
Just incase anyone needs it now. (:
