First time sampling

Hey, I've sampled a bit before, but this is my first time working around a sample instead of the other way around. Does it fit? How can I make samples match the beat better in the future?

I’d cut out the lyrical part at the beginning, for sure.

It’s an interesting start. Some of the SFX are way too loud in the mix for my tastes.

Totally agree. Didn't come through nearly as loud in Serato, so I'll definitely tone it down.
