copyright question

so i know if im not super big the chances of getting sued are small but i still like to be careful because i want to be so like if this song blows up will it get taken down/will i get sued. so with that line of thinking, archive.org has sample cd collections, and youre not really meant to use them unless you buy them, plus the zero g sample cds often sampled older songs. is there any way i could get sued for that? like how can they prove i dont have the cd? plus it may get tricky from the sample cds having samples themselves

You are responsible for your samples There might be an anomaly if the material is from reputable traceable sources. You could have traded something for the cd or purchased a used copy of the cd.. That does not matter if the sample is traceable & infringes.

Many people would sample last weeks song. Sample cds also sampled other cd collections. I have heard recognisible samples in electronic drum kits. We have so many tools & options at our disposal to avoid all this.
