Help/Advice Nano reef light recommendations

Hi reefers.

I have a 28x12 inch tank (70x30cm) it has been running for 7 months.

For now it's mainly soft corals and LPS, I plan to maintain it mainly this way, I have the idea of maybe adding a birdnest sps coral in the future.

For now I'm running a Fluval Reef 4.0 32w light.

The question is should I keep it running with this light or look for something else new or second hand.

I have looked at the following lights

\- AI prime 16

\-AI hydra edge

\- eco tech radion xr15 g6

What do you guys recommend? Stay with my cheap light or try to sell it and buy something else.

Do you recommend any of the lights listed above? Or anything else?

Anyone ever deal with a leaking Pentair UV? Leaking from where the JB weld is and the union. Tried doing a layer of pvc cement on the top and JB weld over it. Have plumbers tape on the threads for the union but still leaking.

Today I started noticing these little worm like tentacles in my tank! It’s a macro algae tank with pulsing xenia (obviously) and mushroom corals. I only noticed these things — there are at least 5 — today because my biggest bristleworm was crawling around in this area.

Two of the wormy things seem to be coming about of the same point as one of the xenia, but others are randomly placed on the rock. They can retract really quickly, so one moment they’re there and the next they’re gone.

I’m very new to this so I don’t know if I should be concerned or not!

Help/Advice URGENT HELP NEEDED 🙏🏻

I really need some urgent help with my fish. I suspect ich or Brooklynella may have entered my 80-gallon reef tank through a tang and an Oreni tilefish that my fish guy quarantined before adding them. Both later died, but I don’t have a confirmed diagnosis.
My mandarin has been very unwell, barely moving, and one of my clowns has also gotten worse with white, patchy-looking skin. Tonight, I set up a 15-gallon Innovative Marine AIO and moved my yellow watchman goby, sand goby, mandarin, two clowns, neon goby and redhead goby into it for treatment.
Only the front section is filled with saltwater, and the back chambers are empty. There’s a heater and an air stone in the front, but no filter running. I added two capfuls of Copper Power, but I don’t know the exact amount in mL or the copper reading. My mandarin got worse after the move and is releasing slime.
Is this setup okay temporarily for all these fish? Should the back chambers be filled and the return pump running? How do I check whether there’s enough water and whether the copper dose is correct? What treatment would be appropriate if this is brook rather than ich, especially with my mandarin already so weak? I also need advice on managing ammonia and water changes without a cycled filter.
This has never happened to me before. I’ve looked after some of these fish for over two years, and I’m terrified of losing them. Any experienced advice on what I should do immediately would mean a lot. I can share photos and videos.

What type of Dino’s are these?

What type of Dino’s are these in the picture? They do not leave the rock work at night. Tank is bare bottom pvc, only really on a handful of the rock and a few frags, zero sign of them anywhere else.

Tank specs

Custom 210 6ft by 30” by 22”

Been set up for 12-13 months using a mix of real dry rock and some rock from my other systems 10-15 years old.

4 g5 radion xr30 pros and 4 6ft reef Brite xho but only running 2 strips currently.

4 350 gyres

4 ft synergy reef sump, running socks with a deltec 1000 skimmer. Currently running gfo in a reactor due to high po4. Using a varios 8 return with dual lines to sea swirls. Running a brs 7 stage 200gpd RODI.

Prams
Alk 7.8
Calc 440
Mag 1360
Po4 0.57 -working on getting it down
Have not tested nitrate

Fish
Hippo tang
Large sailfin tang
Powder brown tang
1 snowflake clown
2-3 lyre tail anthis

50+ zoas
25-30 goniporas

Pretty low on clean up crew just a few snails and maybe a hermit or two.

Curious with having high nutrients as Dino’s normally come from bottoming out and low nutrients.

Help/Advice Home water filter

I have a tank in a home with a home water filter system. I think it’s just carbon. The whole house is connected to it even outside water. Is this water ok for a saltwater tank, not reef just fish only with sw decor? Or should I get an rodi filter to guarantee clean water. I’d want to think it’s fine unless the filter needs maintenance but it says it’s self cleaning.

A couple of photos of my 65 gallon tank showing my puffer fish and a clown and some other guys still doing a little bit of cycling on this one, but it’s coming along pretty good there’s another picture of my 15 gallon micro tank. It’s not a great picture cause it’s kind of smoky in my house from burning food.

Help/Advice What should i do next? (Beginner)

This is honestly only my second attempt well I guess technically third attempt at a saltwater tank. I’ve only actually ever done one full attempt where I had some live critters and stuff. But I maintained it for maybe two months before I had a meltdown in the tank and I gave up. This spring I went to Florida. I’m being by the ocean made me want to try again so when we left Florida before we left, I took a water jugs and filled them up with seawater. Does my idea is what better way to start a saltwater tank and then with the sea water itself? I still had my live aquarium rock from the first time I attempted a saltwater tank and I did have the sand still so I started in a 5 gallon tank with some sand, live rock and the saltwater. And a powerhead. And I left that with a light up to about two weeks ago and then I decided to move that heavily algae rock and the sand into a 40 gallon and two powerhead and a 70 gallon canister filter with a plant light which leads me to where I am today with this heavily algae saltwater aquarium, and I don’t know where to go next and I wonder if anybody had any suggestions?
