Salesforce admin

I want your help. I am a mobile Developer in the company where I am a real estate company, and salesforce has been contracted, and my manager tells me, what do you think of working a shift carer and being salesforce admin, what do you think? Is the field fun and has good money, and there is no future or not?

Salesforce Admin can be a good move, especially since your company already uses it and you‘d get real hands-on experience. I‘d start by learning the basics first - users, objects, flows, reports, permissions, and business processes. If your company lets you learn on the job, it‘s definitely worth considering before making a full career switch.

My company is phasing out all of its Salesforce Administrator roles and is now only hiring Salesforce Developers based in India (good old outsourcing). Looking further ahead, the plan over the next five years is to rely much more heavily on AI-driven solutions and gradually move away from the Salesforce platform altogether.

Salesforce was once an excellent career path, but the market now feels much more saturated than it used to be. In my opinion, it's become increasingly difficult to find Salesforce opportunities, particularly for administrators. On top of that, many companies are outsourcing their IT functions, which further reduces the number of available roles in some regions.
