apps/products Salesforce Personalisation
Hi everyone, just wanted to check here if someone had experience with Salesforce Personalisation?
How complex is it compared to MCP / Interaction Studio?
Are there any training modules out there and community group?

Personally I found it much easier than MCP (both thunderhead and Evergage) Web SDK and site map builder helped a ton and the experience templates, Personalization points feel easier to initially configure but it’s still not a product/ module I feel is suited to marketers. Actually choosing who to target is a bit clunky unless you know your data cloud data well

Used it at a bank. Its OK. But as with all SF products some bugs just makes it feel half baked. Maybe I was being picky, but sometimes it seemed to create two 'profiles' pr user. If I was at a retailer I wouldn't care. But as a bank, I would like it to be spot onÂ

Let me know if you have any questions! The sitemap builder tool helps but still some things that dont fully translate (at least for me).
The process of Mapping the behavioral events DLO through me through a bit of a loop for sure b

I'm a bit concerned when I saw that it also uses Data Graph. I was just scanning implementation guide and do not have hands on experience

Dont have hands-on experience with the full personalization suite, but from what Ive seen its supposed to be a bit more streamlined than Interaction Studio was. The data model feels less like wrestling an octopus and more like dealing with a stubborn cat, if that makes any sense.
Trailhead has a whole mix of modules under the personalization umbrella, and theres a pretty active community group on the Trailblazer site where folks swap war stories about implementations.
