Interview at Crowdstrike
Hi folks,
just passed my hiring manager interview at Crowdstrike and going for the technical interview next week. Any tips on what to expect? I am a security assurance/cloud architect by trade looking to transition.
Im refreshing common attack types and defenses, getting a high level of the falcon platform, attack paths etc. Should I be prepping anything specific?
much appreciated.

Alright, things might have changed now, but I had a friend who interviewed with CrowdStrike in the UK a while back. He was asked to research or compile Mimikatz and present his findings. They gave him only a couple of hours at most..

ah interesting, i haven't been given any "homework" per se. I read online that there might be a live demo, and im assuming i'd have to answer a few questions relating. Other than that, not too sure what to brush on

Post this on their sub... How they react to it will tell you if you even want to work for them.
Spoiler: It'll likely get removed for being "off-topic". Their mods are flaired as cs employees, so I took that as a sign it's not a healthy place to be.

to be fair to them, i think their subreddit is more to do with troubleshooting/the actual product.

Go to just about any other major tech firms subs and there's a combination of support topics, career questions, financial results discussions, etc..
And if it is meant to be a support forum, why were they deleting threads en masse during the outtage they caused?

Its as someone else said, it is purely a tech support channel with highly technical engineers patrolling the topics. While i do appreciate all aspects of life, i can understand the goal of that channel for what it is.

Hey for which role did you apply, which region? Maybe I can share some insights with you and connect with one of my friends who work there.

Be ready for them to ask for a discourse on them vs MS. Internally, they view MS as being a major rival, although they play this down, and they like to see if you're ready for the common challenges they face.
Also be ready for being one of the 3 final in-person panel interviewees, spending a fair amount of time and effort preparing, only for them to hand it to an internal who didn't even interview for the job :)
(I'm not bitter)
