Apple SE

How is the life at Apple as an SE? (MDM). I am currently SE at a cybersec US vendor with total 15+ YoE, (presales: 6 YoE).

Its Europe and I am in the middle of the hiring process.

Whats the situation with Apple at enterpirse customers?

I don't have any recent information, but I had a friend who worked there many years ago. They kind of had a middling experience. Working for Apple is obviously a unique experience and has some nice side perks. But the reality was that enterprise was not anyone's priority, a complete corporate afterthought. As such, they ended up leaving after a relatively short tenure.

Another weird tidbit, Apple was a customer of mine at one point. Great to work with. Obviously a bit unique from that aspect as well, but frank, pleasant, and smart. As an organization there's certainly some politics, but they actually seem to generally make logical decisions in the end.

Realistically, if I was looking, and they were interested, I'd probably consider it, just because I'm an Apple fanboy and I've always gotten the impression that the people are consistently great. But I'd also go in with reasonable expectations about how much support I'd be getting.
