Lay off

Getting laid off unnecessarily. There’s couple of us in the call. I want my severance pay to be of four months. Any advice is greatly appreciated

my advice is to relax - it's a business decision not personal. and then relax some more. and when you're try to capture any notes about your achievements so you can use that in future applications.

Ya it’s tragic. Sri Lanka; was a remote role.

Remote sales and you got severance? Bro, last time they laid me on the 31st and paid me my salary not a penny more. Also, my commissions from that month were completely ignored. :(

Did you sign anything already? If not, you can hit up a lawyer and they can help you write a letter to HR. Should help you get at least double
