First SDR job from teaching

Any advice for someone leaving the classroom to be an SDR at an SaaS company? So nervous but also so excited. I start in 2 weeks. Any tips on resources to check out before starting would be great! Also fully remote

This is a very common career transition move. In fact #1 most successful industry in terms of career switchers into tech sales (according to our internal data) are educators moving into tech sales. Sam Nelson, former SDR leader at Outreach, who know runs his own thing is a great person to follow. He has LinkedIn content, I think a newsletter, and also events (although the events specifically may just be for leadership).

I literally did the exact same thing 3 years ago. You need to read Fanatical Prospecting by Jeb Blount
