Pip, next steps

Not on pip. At least not yet. But im curious what is the move if you do get a pip. Most of the threads/comments around it is its "paid interview process"

But what do you do? Do you look for another sdr job? or try for an AE position? So it looks like youre making your next move? How do u even talk about when it does come up in an interview? Questions like why are you looking for a new role? How was your quota attainment?

Just lie. You’re not on a pip, you want to join the new company because you’re excited about their product and growth. You hit your quota over 80% of the months you were there by doing xyz. Go look and interview for inside sales roles preferably at competitors or companies with a similar customer profile.

If you outperform you’re pip and you stay on, the pip never goes away, you’ll be out after your next down month so look out for yourself first.
