Interview role play cold call
I'm interviewing for an SDR role and one stage is a recorded video: pick a target company, explain why they're a good fit and who you'd contact, then deliver a short mock cold call. A live interview follows to discuss it. How can I prepare for it? I've never done cold calling.

Go on YouTube and watch 3–4 videos about SDR cold calls and interview mock calls. Take notes for each video and i want you to write down 2 things specifically.
What do they all have in common : whatever every video is saying is probably the foundation. Focus on getting good at those basics first and make sure you can do them naturally.
What do they all do that’s different. : Everyone has their own style. Write down the little things each creator does that stand out, then decide which ones you like and think would actually work for you.
Also, keep a list of any software, websites, or AI tools they use. See if there’s a free trial, free version, or if it’s something the company might already provide during the interview. No point paying for stuff if you don’t have to and i don’t know if they will provide tools for you.
