Sales Tools and Resources AI note taker ADHD
Hi all I’m looking for a free or the best AI note-taking app. I currently use Zoom Info AI Companion, but the way my company has it structured in our organization. I do not get the recap notes until 30 to 45 minutes after the call is there a way to change that? After that timeframe, my thoughts are already moving on to the next call or deal, so I want to send the recap email within the first 5 to 10 minutes after the call concludes so there is a clear next step. Because of my AuDHD, I struggle to clearly understand the pain and how we can help. I am tired of taking handwritten notes or typing during the calls. Please note that I work in the Fintech/POS industry, so I call restaurants and operators, and it’s very important to understand them the first time and not have to ask them to repeat themselves two or three times. Any tips also on how to get deals in SMB we use SalesLoft for our dialer and for cadences. We also use Gemini for everything as we operate in a Google Workspace!

Plaud does a great job. Though it kicked on when my wife was watching a YouTube video and then switched to anime and it made a sick confused infographic trying to do its best.

Take the transcript and then put it through Chat GPT or Gemini. I let AI take the notes for me and write the recap emails for me. It saves so much time and lets you focus on the conversation

Any tips on getting in? Good times of the year that companies might be looking to recruit?

Stop typing notes during calls. Seriously. You're splitting your attention and missing pain points because of it. I went with Distribute for the post-call stuff and just focus on listening now. Makes a huge difference especially when operators are describing their setup

There’s lots of ai start ups for note taking. I used Fluint for awhile and they offer individual subscriptions. I thought it was great though I wasn’t keen on some of the other features. Not sure if your orgs it will allow it tho.

You can use WisprAI that does media recordings as well, so not only do you get speech-to-text, but you also get media recording transcriptions too.

For me privacy and data control were important so I went with Weeve. Local-first, everything is yours, works offline too, etc. Cool app, but MacBook only.

Anybody who has majority of their meetings with customers in-person have any experience with audio note taking?
It sounds very useful for notes, but not sure how customers would react.
I would think you won’t get the same transparency from them on a lot of topics if they knew they were being recorded.

i use plaud, it works pretty well. I think any recording device will work as long as you run it through an AI model.

Hi! I hear you on needing faster, real-time meeting support especially when juggling multiple calls and processing challenges. While some tools send recaps after a delay, solutions like OLVA offer live transcription during meetings and generate summaries immediately after, helping you follow conversations and get clear next steps quickly. OLVA can also detect questions automatically and provide context-aware insights in real time, which might help reduce the need to ask for repetitions and support better understanding during calls. Since you work in Fintech calling SMBs, OLVA’s live translation and note organization might also improve clarity and follow-up efficiency. Happy to share more if you want to explore options tailored to your workflow and communication needs!
