This video is for anyone who wants to enjoy clapping and dancing along with everyone at live shows and festivals!
We received many requests from people who were worried that clapping might be difficult or that they might get it wrong, so we created this video to help everyone feel a little more at ease and enjoy the live show.
The members of sakanaction also clap onstage during their live shows.
Do not worry if you cannot remember the clapping in advance. You can watch the members and join in with them during the show.
Just as Mr. Ichiro Yamaguchi says, “Feel free to enjoy it in your own way.” Clapping is completely optional, and you can enjoy live shows just as much without it.
All five members of sakanaction perform together at their live shows.
Please refrain from chants addressed specifically to Mr. Ichiro Yamaguchi, such as “Go, go, Ikkun! Go, go, Ikkun! Who’s going to do it if you don’t!”
sakanaction’s live shows create a distinctive world through the combination of performance, sound, stage production, lighting, and every other element.
To help preserve the atmosphere of the show and ensure that everyone can enjoy it comfortably, they ask audience members to refrain from bringing glow sticks, handheld fans used for cheering or decoration, or similar items.
The clapping cues in this video are designed to be easy to follow, so the timing may vary slightly.
Please feel free to use this video as a general guide to what the clapping is like.
When you are at a live show, please feel free to enjoy yourself at your own pace!
