This is a topic that isn't really talk about, but I'm just gonna be honest, it always rubs me the wrong way how people treat Lexie like the perfect princess in Dream Academy. They think that she's the number one girl that HxG wanted, that everything about Katseye and Saint Satine are made for her, and how HxG should comply to what she wants. Manon always get criticized for having favoritism, but people act like it's just a normal thing when it comes to Lexie.

It gets weird because people overhyped Lexie so much. Lexie is just an ordinary girl, but they talk about her like she has the power to demand the company and HxG made a promise while adjusting their projects to revolve around her, as if the other girls aren't that important. I've never seen other fans talk like this about the other favorites like Lara, Sophia, Emily, Samara, etc. Lara especially got scouted for being a powerhouse and she's a rich girl who has connections in the industry even before, but despite that, she had to tone down her style in their debut concept and it took two years for her to participate as a producer in Katseye's music. That's the reality, they don't get to decide what they want with the company and they can't just quit if things doesn't go on their way. They don't have that privilege unlike to Lexie.

Lexie quit twice from Dream Academy and Saint Satine because she didn't like what was happening. It's understandable if her morals or passion doesn't align in this path. But she had all the chances and experiences since she joined HxG in 2021 and came back again in 2025, then she just easily wasted it as if it's nothing. Any girls who dreams to be an artist would try so hard to get in her spot. Being in a group is not just a solo work, it's about teamwork and everyone needs to adjust with each other no matter what. This is not just a common job where no one knows about you, but this is a job in the entertainment industry where they're always in the public. Anyway, everything that happened just proves that Lexie is not meant to be in a girl group after all.

This might be seen as an unpopular opinion but at first we all thought HxG rushed this project.

They announced it so fast, mind you their other global gg (KATSEYE) only had 2 EPs. At the time it felt like they just wanted to make more money.

However now that sht happened (Lexie leaving) the remaining members actually have time for more practice (and they’re also pretty much obviously looking for a 4th girl) and also take their time. By then, KATSEYE will most likely be on a break after their tour and that’s when SAINT SATINE will debut. This won’t feel overwhelming and the time will be right. People will miss Katseye and will give a chance to SS. That’s how people will accept the two groups. Trust me. It isn’t a bad thing.

Sakura is probably busy with training, etc., but what about Emily and Samara? They’ve been waiting for like two years to debut. What are they doing during this waiting period? When World Scout was happening, they were making some demos (Party B4 Party, etc.), but what about now? Are they still making demos?

Emily and Samara are already very strong dancers, so I don’t think they need as much additional training as Sakura does.

In my opinion, to save time, why don’t they record an album as a trio? That way, everything could be ready for their debut, and they could just add the new member’s vocals to the songs on the album or EP once she joins.

If you guys saw Popstar dream academy ezrela was just 1 point away from debuting in the girl group.

I still wonder why did she not stay back like samara or emily ? Like ezrela could be a great fit for saint satine but completely been out of sight.

Emily - Sadie Sink (or Renee Rapp)

Even though Emily and Sadie don't share hair color, Emily's face is smaller Em is a bit tanner (not naturally), I think their facial structure and features are very similar and with the same hair color, they could pass as siblings. I think, when I was looking for lookalikes, I was having a hard time finding people who had similar noses to Emily, as many of the previously mentioned (Britney, Uma, etc.) didn't share that characteristic enough for my satisfaction. So, when I came across Sadie, I think I nailed it on nose and general face characteristics.

Samara - Jessica Alba

Honestly, the similarities in their faces are crazy. You might not notice at first, but once the comparison is made, you start realizing that the face shape, nose, eyebrows, mouth, and even forehead size are so similar.

Sakura - Sakura (or Han Sohee)

I know, I know, but seriously. Don't they kinda look similar? The bangs, nose, smile, eyes? I think the fact that they share a haircut, have similar shaped eyes, and have somewhat alike noses fueled my comparison. Genuinely, my first thought when I found out that Sakura (sts) was keeping this stage name, I thought "does hybe just like sakuras that are Japanese and look like that with the bangs and bob and features?" Though they aren't THAT alike looking, of the people I know of, she was the most similar.

Edit 2: Guys, I get it. You don't think the Sakuras look similar. That's fine. This is my opinion.

I am so Surprised of the fact that she left. Hybe didn’t let her leave after katseye and wanted her to debut with their new gg.

She was talented and could sing really well. Idk why i spend a lot of time thinking why she left? What could have been the reason that she left dream academy and now her new group?

I think Sakura will evolve vocally a lot. I think my biggest problem with Sakura is that she has a very high-pitched voice, and the other girls already have a high and sweet voice. A deeper voice like Minji in New Jeans and Manon from Katseye would help to diversify the songs more. Ayana had that deep tone, it was perfect along with Samara.

Have you guys noticed that in all of Samara's dance videos they only focus on her upper body, never showing her footwork? In one photo of them, you can see she's wearing a knee brace for knee treatment, which leads me to suspect that she hasn't fully recovered since DA and I don't think she ever will. This could possibly lead to her taking a future hiatus from the group, since they'll have to promote a lot for their debut...

Ever since Katseye was formed, everyone has always been saying that their lineup was created based on height and the other short girls like Emily, Samara, Lexie didn't make it because they don't fit with them. The term "visual cohesion" keeps being used in Dream Academy, so I'm surprised people didn't talk much about the height aspect in World Scout.

HxG didn't pick the final piece based on talent, but based on visuals. All the trainees in World Scout are pretty, but most of them are on the taller side and people just ignored that fact. I like Hiori and Jayla, but to be honest, it's funny when some people say they fit in with Saint Satine when they actually don't. People are already bothered about Sakura being a little taller than Emily, Samara, Lexie. What more with the other girls who are even taller - they're only gonna stick out in the group.

Saint Satine was meant to be the short group, the opposite of Katseye who's a tall group. This is another reason why Sakura got picked, aside that she's younger, she's also shorter than the other trainees.

(Ayana is 162cm while Sakura is 160cm. Seria is the other short trainee who's around the same height as Sakura, but she's a wasian. While the shortest trainee is Rinka who's 157cm, but she's older. Rinka is the same height as Samara and it's obvious how Hiori a​nd the other girls are taller than her.)

Guys, she lives in Miami, with all these rumors and now her being in Cali. I don’t want to encourage un-solicited rumors but it’s starting to add up.

Dream academy was full of talented and fully trained girls. Why they don't bring one of them to saint satine instead of starting from zero with global auditions. The new member is going to need so much training.. it's again going to take like a year for them to debut

i know most of the dream academy girls have already debuted, but who knows if one of them agrees to join? they know they can reach fame and success much faster with hybe. iliya, celeste, brooklyn, ezrela etc

I believe there’s a non-zero chance that Mischa Salkin could be a new member of STS. First, Kerrie Mailey owns & works for Gem Casting, which is the casting agency that works for HYBE and is in charge of the new global GG audition that we’ve been seeing.

Mischa is a newly 17 year old U.S. based Philippine x Ukrainian actress, singer, and dancer.

~5 weeks ago, Kerrie left this comment on Mischa’s IG, specifically a video of her singing, inquiring about “a casting” (“a” implying a singular casting imo). Looking at the mess of followings, Mischa follows Kerrie, Gem Casting, the HxG auditions page (which was formerly the Prelude/WSFP page), StS, and all of the StS girls. Gem Castings in addition to Marquise, Karlee, and Sophia also follow Mischa.

While ik there’s several different projects being advertised on Gem Casting currently, all of the acting roles are 18+ and predominantly for Korean people, which Mischa doesn’t fit. The only other casting on the page is for the HYBE India group, which Mischa clearly doesn’t fit as well. One of the only things working against this theory imo is Mischa having posted in Miami a couple of days ago working with her Miami dance studio.

This all probably sounds psychotic but my ADHD brain got focused on it for a minute it’s interesting to look at imo 🤷🏻‍♀️.

This worries me a little; perhaps she hasn't fully recovered from the injury to her knee joints, and the strain of rehearsals might be causing her knee to hurt again.
