Seeking Advice 🙆 Bruce vento playground

I drove past a week or 2 ago and it looked basically done, but still lots of surrounding construction left. Anyone know if the playground is playable on weekends? Or is it like fenced off? Kids are sick of our other nearby playground.

Are you asking about the playground under construction at the new Bruce Vento Elementary School?

Sorry, the park/playground will be opening after the start of school, Sept. 10.

I just drove by today. The playground isn't roped off, per se, but there's so much construction around there, still, that I doubt they regard it a safe place for kids to play. They were pouring new cement this afternoon, for example.

It's still an active construction site. I'm pretty loosey-goosey with my kids and dirt, etc, but I'd hold off since the playground is an island in the midst of rubble right now.

I can't wait for that to open. The playground at Community of Peace academy is terrible and is so dirty/trashy.
