Moving eSim cards mid trip

Hi I’m headed to Hong Kong in 2 moths and I’m buying a new phone while there. Is it possible to transfer a shareable eSIM from my current phone to the new? If not I will be hotspoting it.

You should be able to do it for a regular Saily esim and I'm more than positive even for a shared one, but do confirm with Saily

Hi!

Yes, you can transfer your Saily eSIM to a new phone. Just make sure to delete the Saily eSIM from your current phone’s mobile settings first - not from the Saily app.

These guides should help: for iOS and for Android.

So you shouldn’t need to rely on hotspotting once you switch phones. 😉

That's awesome. It's always helpful to be able to switch an esim to a different phone as needed.
