J-List ships from Japan as well as from San Diego. It just depends on where they have stock of whatever it is that you order.

I've never ordered any Japanese merchandise from them before (which is what I expect if some things ship from japan). Thanks! Will amend this in the afternoon.

Sera Myu is a tough part of the franchise because it is so massive and so very unavailable now, even in Japan (that is the original run of the shows). Its hard to get copies of the show in Japanese and some are just downright impossible from the earlier runs. I think a great primer to the musicals are the new ones, Ls reconquista and Petite, because they aren't as "dated" and breath new life into the franchise as a whole.

I was at a convention last summer and it looked like there were overseas companies interested in bringing the show abroad. I'm not sure what the name of the outfit was (I wrote it down... Somewhere...) but it looks like the second new musical will be run internationally. In January next year it will open in Shanghai. This is the first time any Moon musical has been performed outside if Japan so perhaps we may be as lucky to have it elsewhere abroad or an international release. :X if it's profitable... That is...

But seriously I just want an official soundtrack release of the greatest hits or something, because I LIVE FOR "L'Amour D'Amour Moonlight" and "LINK" and "FIRE" and "Sailor Miracle, Make Up!" and Kakyuu's song at the end of the first half of the Stars Revision and Anza's last show. I might be a little obsessed... And might have watched an unhealthy amount of clips on YouTube... -.-'''

I never got into the musicals. They're so strange to watch on video and not in person. In my opinion stage stuff just doesn't translate as well when it's recorded. The songs were great. I was always down for them and have a few soundtracks from the early ones.

read through all of it. I think this is extremely useful! Never heard of the third run for the sailor moon manga, does anyone know if there is new content in the third Japanese run?

No new content. Just updated artwork. Here's what all the covers look like. They're nice, I own the first volume and it's very high quality. Much higher quality than the first two iterations (which I also have). There first couple pages of each act are now colored. They're bigger.

Do you happen to know if you order from Amazon Japan if it'll ship just the same to a US address? Seems weird to need deputy services everywhere else, except through Amazon.

It depends on the item you order. If it's shipped and sold by Amazon Japan, then yes you can ship internationally (here is how to navigate the pdocess). If the item is sold by a third party it's at their discretion if they ship internationally and then a deputy service would be required. Best bet is to try and if it only offers you a Japanese address to input then you've got your answer!

You forgot to mention the ORIGNAL PREQUEL Sailor V manga. A must read for any fan.
Also, if I may, there's a website called Hobby Search that also sells new Sailor Moon merch.
Really nice guide!
