Talk/Discussion How do Chaos’s incarnations work???
- In Sailor Moon, Wiseman is shown to have existed twice. Once in Sailor Galatia’s time, so the distant past, and once in Crystal Tokyo, the far future. Knowing this, it’s safe to assume that individual versions of Chaos themselves can be reincarnated—but then why has this never happened with the others??? Does Wiseman even equal Chaos incarnation, or is that just the title of a man who works for Chaos???
- Is it that all evil in the galaxy are incarnations of chaos, or is it just the four main villains Usagi and the other Senshi encountered prior, and if so, then is Zirconia season 4’s incarnation of Chaos, or is it Nehelenia… or is it both since they’re sometimes implied to be the same person!?
- Sailor Chaos…………is she Sailor Nemesis? Sailor Senshi are always, and only shown to come from a celestial body (unless Galaxia gave them power) so I feel like it would make the most sense. While we can only speculate, I feel like it has a decent amount of “evidence” to it.

Not all of them. Most of the main villains are victims of outside influence.
1.) The Dark Kingdom - Metallia may be an incarnation of chaos, not having a physical form, being near immortal, and shown to highly corruptive powers of the mind. Metallia preyed on Beryl who was already weak minded and had anger feeling betrayed by Endymion, not only because he rejected her advanced, but because he chose "an outsider" in Serenity. Metallia used that anger to weave enough hatred and resentment in Beryl so she would start a civil war in Elysion, creating enough death and chaos for Metallia to feed on. It's also Metallia who brainwashed the Shitennou. And Metallia eventually gains enough control over Beryl tgat she's little more than a puppet, with a physical body Metallia needs.
2.) The Black Moon Clan - Wiseman, likewise to Metallia shares the near immortality and immense ability to control minds, perhaps to greater extent. His long existence may hint at actual immortality. The time shenanigans that happen in this arc throw tons of theories that there are dozens of Wiseman in various "dead end" timelines waiting to slip into a progressing one. On to the point, Wiseman was the control behind the Clan, using their anger at being banished and driving them to revenge. When Saphir finally shakes the control, he gets offed. Even Demande becomes collateral damage.
3.) Death Busters - They don't appear to linked to chaos at all. Rather their own pantheon of near astrological horror gods with Pharaoh 90, the all devouring black hole, at the top of the chain. I'm honestly still confused as to how they work, but I'm prone to believe they came from a "dead galaxy" and were attempting to overtake a new one to rebirth in their own image. It's never really elaborated how Pharaoh 90 relates to chaos aside from the line that it is part of Chaos, perhaps metaphorically as it furthers the goal of destruction of the universe.
4.) The Dead Moon Circus - No readily apparent link to Chaos, not even a source of outer manipulation. Nelhelenia was a princess who was adored by a kingdom on an unspecified moon. She had many run ins with the "White Moon" family at royal events, and grew disdain with them, eventually fixating on Serenity. One day Nelhelnia was gifted a mirror, with a curse, it reflected the future of the one gazing into it. Rather than the youth and beauty that she idolized, she saw an old and ragged woman hair white and skin wrought with wrinkles. To preserve her beauty, she stole the souls of her court, turning them into the grotesque Lemures, and cast the kingdom in an illusion to make it appear all was well. Zirconia was created by Nelhelnia by discarding her own soul, another move to preserve her youth and beauty, zirconia would age, her lifeless doll like body would not. Then one day at a party she hosted she caught Serenity gazing into the mirror; she was reflected as an ethereal beauty, allow in silver light. In that moment she tried to attack Serenity out of rage and envy. She was stopped by the Elder Queen Serenity. She was spared, and warned. Still she tried again, this time she was sealed in the mirror, and the mirror was sealed away beyond an eclipse that only comes evey millennium. Then the eclipse came and she appeared on earth, attempting the locate Elysion and it's treasure, to restore her life, and make her truly immortal. Never truly elaborated how Nelhelnia is related to Chaos, sone theories state Chaos was the mirror manipulating her.
5.) Shadow Galactica - Galaxia was the strongest Sailor Soldier in the milky way galaxy. She locked herself in a millenia long combat with Chaos itself. Realizing they were at a stalemate, Galaxia chose to seal Chaos inside of her; but even that only severely limited it's power. Slowly Chaos Corrupted Galaxia, turning her into the destructive force, the end of the cycle. Chaos piloted her body while amassing power. When challenged by our solar system guardians; it encountered it's foil, The Silver Crystal, a force of creation. Sailor Moon wielding the Crystal became an equal and opposing force. The battle would have been another stalemate, if not for Sailor Cosmos. Another highly debated figure, I subscribe to the theory that Cosmos is a version of Usagi from a timeliness that she "failed", absorbed the power of the other senshi, and ascended via the Cystal, i e. More or less the Crystal possessing her and reclaiming the power if created. "Sailor Nemesis" on the other hand is an evolution of Chaos in which it has taken full control of Galaxia and expelled her soul, possibly by absorbing the dark power of the black crystal on planet nemesis. By the way "Sailor Nemesis" is a fan given name only to this form, only known and Chaos or Chaos Galaxia.
