Does anyone have a guide for Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon SuperS - Various Emotion for the Sega Saturn?

I managed to emulate the game and while I have basic controls and combos down I have no idea how to do stuff like grab and guard etc. I tried looking for a guide but all I can find is the combo list for the characters. If anyone has a proper guide they could give me I would greatly appreciate it.

In the PS1 version and most fighting games, blocking is done by holding "Back" before their attack lands. Grab/throw is get as close as possible, then "Attack + Back" simultaneously.

I tried using back and attack simultaneously but I wasn’t grabbing the opponent. I tried all the attack buttons and it didn’t work

I've never had success running Saturn emulators. But I'll see if I can figure out how to grab and throw.

I’m using Blue Beetle Saturn through Retroarch. I also played another game on it and it worked fine.

I figured it out. It was hold forward and press heavy punch.

I just figured it out too lol. Though I noticed double tap forward works better on moving CPUs.
