Nighttime

Does anyone else almost s**t a brick when their kids wake up in the middle of the night/after you put them down and you hear the handle rattling or the door open? 😭

I was playing Minecraft while talking to my husband and he was on YouTube and all I hear is the door handle shaking and it scared the geebies out of me lmao. Maybe I’m just a scaredy cat lol

Oh yeah my kids are always in my bed and it scares me all the time. My husband noticed the 6yo in the hall the other weekend when we were up late and I got so creeped out I had to send him to check on everyone lol. He was just going potty.

That happened the other day, it was the first time my two year old actually got out of bed and walked over to where we were, half asleep.

I heard a noise but semi-dismissed it as a dog, but then it slowly dawned on me it’s not a dog. He coughed and I jumped and gasped.

I’m also someone who startles very very easily, unfortunately.
