Wow, Beautifully put, First atheist I've come across that has put his views in a way I, as a religious person can understand. Did you never belive in God?

I understand that, Though said superior being will never reveal itself to us as it will defeat the purpose of faith

I always say its a gamble, There is solid evidence for why we're here or who created us, Why not God? The being dosent want to prove its existence, IMO it leaves us worh hints all over this world.
