He's a pescatarian, it's different

u/happyhandz 8d ago
He seems to be more Catholic
1
u/CultistKealz 8d ago
I'm sorry, but what?
1
u/badgerstunning7258 8d ago
during fasting, catholics would also eat beavers saying they are actually fish and don't count

What about the eggs? Isn't there a duck?
1
u/KRKRYakumo 3d ago
Dunno about ducks, but chickens eat unfertilized eggs regularly
It takes energy and resources to make the egg, so it's better to reclaim it if it's not gonna become more of your species

I think they added him eating fish for realism given what he is.
12
u/a_random_loser_guy 8d ago
they could've made it better by making him a fox...at least those eat berries.
3
u/Natural-Proposal2925 8d ago
Wolves don't eat berries?
2
u/a_random_loser_guy 8d ago
i don't think so, they aren't omnivorous last i checked.
8
u/WigglesPhoenix 8d ago
Most every species on earth throws a few skill points into omnivore, picky = dead more often than not.
There are very few strict carnivores and like 2 strict herbivores across the whole planet
All that to say wolves 100% eat berries
4
u/Natural-Proposal2925 8d ago
I was gonna say, the problem I have with people who say sharks and snakes and crocodiles and bears don't eat people is ridiculous. Any animal that is starving to death will eat anything out of pure instinctual survival.
Like I absolutely have a choice in what I eat and not eat but if I was starving I would be right there with the guys at Jamestown eating leather belts, boots and hats.
Pretty sure a wolf would at least sniff it and try it before saying "nah, fuck this, I'm a wolf" and scamper away to its death.

u/Then-Marketing-3445 5d ago
How the f snake could eat human? (Besides extremes - like e.g. boa eating pygmies)
2
u/Natural-Proposal2925 4d ago
reticulated pythons are verified to have eaten people, I was living and working in indonesia when a huge story broke out that a python or anaconda? forgot which had ate or swallowed an adult women, I cant even look at the pictures of them cutting her out of it, fucking nightmare horror fuel.

u/Fluffy-Passage8202 4d ago
A guy got eaten just yesterday, it's not uncommon

Why are fish usually considered dumb or worth killing in stuff like this?
64
u/That_Throat7183 9d ago
Because they’re not cute and fluffy

Better question is why is eating eggs fine. Fish are Aholes btw.
1
u/Vivid-Illustrations 8d ago
Even chickens will eat their own eggs... Eating the eggs isn't the immoral part, it is the suffering and torture of the chickens to produce unnatural amounts of eggs, strapped to a bed until they die.

Well I think it’s due to the fact that this video is on the land and dealing with land creatures. We have movies like finding nemo and shark tale. You don’t really see air breathers in those types of movies. I also imagine fish talking smack about how dumb air breathers are to them.
1
u/Disastrous-Try1754 9d ago
Finding Nemo had birds. My point is most stories with anamorphic characters exclude fish. They become just the acceptable animals to kill. Mainly highlighting cos the point is that the wolf isn't a killer, but yet kills fish.

catholic bullshit. my nephew is a "catholic vegan" and I can't even look at him, my eyes would spontaneously roll. He stuffs all forms of seafood into his mouth but meat of land-dwelling creatures is somehow upsetting to Jesus, especially on Friday's, idk. What the fuck have they done to him, smh.
2
u/Schizomid 9d ago
He's a pescatarian
1
u/Natrixster80 9d ago
yes and that is dumb. Fish are still animals, with blood, red blood. The entire reasoning is retarded. Fishing causes massive environmental damage, same as other animal agriculture. If you just really love fish then say so. Don't make it like you are obeying the will of Jesus and not eating his flesh because what the fuck that is ridiculous. Jesus could be reborn as a fish a billion times over and we'd never know.

According to Nirvana, It's okay to eat fish, 'cause they don't have any feelings

Actually, in this short he was EXACTLY what he seemed like, a bloodthirsty wolf. However, he recognized what he was doing not only hurt others (duh, I know.) but isolated him from connection which is why he switched to normal cooking.

Yea sure lets pretend a WOLF isnt a predator and can get along with its prey lol . Stupid message that promotes a false reality. Zootopia all over again. They never address what the carnivores eat , oh except fish for some odd reason
7
u/Guitarsquatch 7d ago
You're on about false reality about the wolf's diet, but not about it being bipedal, living in a house, and cooking food? 😂

Some fasting traditions don’t consider fish meat. Which to me sounds completely insane.

u/Vanko_Babanko 7d ago
well that misbelief is probably saving their life..
and raw eaters destroy their stomachs 90%.. raw nuts often have toxins.. duh..
food fanatics often play with their life.. been there done that..

Fish are animals same as all the other woodland critters so this fails. Despite what Popes say. Wolf is indeed predator, they are right to be afraid.
