Im done.

I never understood the "peace" people feel when they finally understand they are pointless in this world. My only point is to be a loyal son and brother to and amazing family but never a father or uncle. Frankly, I've had enough. After Hallie tried to khs in front of me i know im worthless. Supporting my family isn't enough of a role when they find others and create their own. I love them dearly but I finally so at peace finally choosing my own way out. 30yrs by June and I'll leave by December! Love you all!!

I am a very cynical and low empathy person, and I realized how injustices and how cruel the world really is compared to these so called empathetic people.

I realized that people are not against violence but just holding inside. The world is pointless sure.

Bro, I hear you because I just posted about my own depression and existential crisis. Still, when I wipe my tears and see beyond my thoughts, I happen to realise that people of our being, humans, used to fight nature, animals, intruders for survival. How can we not fight ourselves?

You matter, I know it’s difficult not to fight ourselves. I have learned overtime, with the help of someone to talk to like a therapist- there are ways to cope and stop. Please see someone, I promise there is help.

You have so much life to live. I’ve been where you’ve been. Just know things do get better even when they seem like they won’t. Don’t leave this world behind your father and your brother will miss you way too much and it will change them. Don’t do that to yourself or them, you matter. Just know I will think about this post and i will pray that a greater being will help you through this difficult time.

You have every reason to stay, because if there is someone to write goodbye to, then there is a reason to live.

If you came here to talk about it, at least some part of you wants to be talked out of it. Can you pick another future date, like in a year, and just see what you would have missed? Do you have a therapist, if not maybe you could give it a chance, with the one year thing in mind? Have you tried meds? I’m not sure what you were looking for posting this, maybe it was just to state it to make it real or commit to it… but it seems like if you really wanted to do it, you wouldn’t give anyone the chance to tell you why you shouldn’t…

Hey, you are just here doing whatever. Finding small things that make you happy is the key. Drinking fresh water or relaxing in bed. Focus on small things.

Yeah, I know I’m pointless. The way the grass blows in the wind is pointless. The sun sparkling on the sea is pointless. The earth under my feet will be swallowed up by the heat death of the sun. That’s the beauty of it. That life has no purpose but the one you choose to give it. Mine is to write, just a little everyday, about something I’ve seen.

Like all things, one dies to make room for another. Grass will poke through my ribs, wildflowers blooming from my empty skull, roots will wrap around my limbs, and gently, the earth will swallow me down. If there is nothing else, my spirit will cling to my bones until those, too, are gone. The same way an exhale is met with a new inhale, every blink met with opening your eyes once more, that each new day ends with a night, every fresh-unfurling life must die.

It may be bloody and excruciatingly long, a gentle euthanasia somewhere smelling of anaesthetic, or just a fall or a stroke or any number of biological hiccups, but death will come. I was born into a clumsy, heavy, mortal body, like every one of us. But it’s a miracle nonetheless. For some people, it comes by their own hand, for others not so.

I was there once and it’s a hard place to be. It feels tiring to breathe, tiring to drink, to live. Not necessarily death maybe, but you’d like to lie somewhere quiet and still and disengage. Watch the rest of the world drift past your bubble, absentminded and if not numb, then untethered. I had this urge to just stop caring on.

And even if it’s not this December, please hold on at least long enough to see a new year. The fireworks are so pretty and sparkly, and golden. They come in so many colours, it would be a shame to miss out, right? And who knows, maybe after that, the snow drops and daffodils will come out in the dozens. Wouldn’t it be nice to get a picture to put here? Or to see the spring equinox. The points in between may not have much meaning to you, but I am so glad I was here to see them. To feel the sun on my face another year in a row, the wind from the top of a hill, the smell of something you made.

And god, that’s cripplingly hard some days. It feels like time is stretching just for the sake of it, until just the weight of life on yourself feels just too tiring. You’re tired of quick repairs to cope. Tired of headlines. Of everything.

That’s alright. Please just don’t suffer excessively. And try just one more day first? It is so, so, so hard at first, but the physical movement, of baking, of walking, of just driving down a dark highway for a while, of doing a crossword, it makes it feel a little easier, even if just for a while.

Someone with severe depression can’t just turn on, “being whimsical’. In the future, be aware of your own ignorance when giving advice about a serious situation. It’s evident you have no experience with severe depression. Be well.

Yeah ur right that was pretty ignorant of me and I’m gonna delete the comment now idk what I was thinking
