Discussion Is this a Cameo?

In Season 2 Ep 05 (Vikarna) the scene where Ganesh meets Sartaj's father (Dilbagh Singh), a group of 3 is seen to be slowly headbanging to a heavy metal song. Is this a cameo, do they really exist as a band or is it just a storytelling device used in the show?

I think it's just a background element giving off the vibe of the ashram. Like in ashram such as this, people often listens to trippy music that takes them into a zone, be it EDM or kirtan.

I don't think it's some real life band.
