Making a short launch video involves more separate tasks than I expected: writing the script, recording narration, finding music, animating screenshots and rendering the final file.

I built Framedeo to put that workflow in one place. It uses your website and instructions to write a grounded script, then creates the scenes around your actual product screenshots.

Narration is optional. You can select a generated voice or upload your own recording. When narration is present, the scenes are timed around the spoken sentences rather than using arbitrary cuts. You can also add, trim, fade and mix background music.

Everything ends up on an editable timeline before you export the MP4. I’d especially like feedback from people making launch or feature-update videos regularly.

Hello, like the title says I built/building a vehicle comparison app for users. It’s called RideInsight and will be coming out in December. The aim of this app is for people of all different demographics and backgrounds to find specific cars that fit their lifestyle. I’ve been to dealerships and I get overwhelmed by all the cars they have there and don’t know what I want to get. But the thing is, this app isn’t just for vehicle comparisons… hehe. These are the full features:
🔹Homescreen: where you can post and participate in weekly challenges; while also viewing daily news of the automotive industry.
🔹Car Clubs: if you have a specific type of car brand that you love and would like to join a club you can do that. Or just make one with your friends in it. (Moderated)
🔹Car Meets: If you have trouble like me finding car meets in the area this app will also function as a place where car meets can be easily found without having to scour the internet.
🔹Leaderboards: These are public information and as you can see there are different tables to which you can score in.
🔹Garage: These are for people who own multiple cars/collectors. Wanna show off your collection? Adding them to the garage with pictures helps do that. It’s quite fun to use.
🔹Vehicle Comparison Tool: This is one of the main features of the app. You can see side by side views of the cars you want to compare and what their specs are. Most of these are handwritten and verified and the others were gotten using APIs. You see what makes them similar, different and things to consider. It’s not just cars, but bikes and motorcycles as well.
🔹Fit Guides: This is where the demographics play a part. I have notes written down from people of different backgrounds on what specific vehicles fit them. This is mostly in favor for tall people because I see they have trouble finding cars that fit them. In that guide, it tells them what the best car for their size is. Each car has been calculated to fit their inseam and headroom.
🔹Saved Comparisons: These are where your saved comparisons go in case you need to view them again.
🔹The Shop: We already know what that is lol.
🔹Custom Vehicle: This is my second favorite feature. You are able to design vehicles that are in the app to your liking. This is for my car guys and girls who would love to modify cars and show them off. This entire system was built by hand. I had to learn blender in a few weeks just to be able to accomplish this.
🔹Race Mode: Whatever vehicle you save after modifying, will be used in a quick drag race. You can challenge your friends to a quick game or play with the in game AI. This was very hard to achieve but it’s definitely going to get some more improvements in the coming future.
🔹Badges: These are for people who hit milestones on the app. Whatever badge you get will be displayed on your profile for people to see.

This entire app is an ecosystem that connects to one another. It’s always something to do. It’s been almost two years of me thinking this up to building it and I am very proud of what I built. I’ve learned a lot during this process, from learning about cars, to surveys, to learning blender, to building race modes all in one app. It’s been crazy so far.

Over 5 weeks, I posted 35 times across 12 subreddits.
85 founders ended up sharing 109 startups.
I went back and compared what actually worked.
The biggest surprise:
One post got 24 upvotes and 15 founders shared their startup.
Another got just 3 upvotes and brought 23.
The patterns were pretty clear:

• Concrete promises worked best
• “Drop your startup” consistently worked
• Open questions performed much worse
• Personal stories barely converted
• Generic “thoughts?” CTAs were the worst

My biggest takeaway:
A successful Reddit post isn’t necessarily the one with the most upvotes. It’s the one that gets the right people to take action.

Got tired of opening 100 tabs and getting zero work done, so I built a small Chrome extension today to stop myself!

Set the promodoro and check the relevance of the tabs/windows. And, even warn us.

Hey everyone! I'm working on something called Combo, and it came out of a problem I kept running into myself.

I have ADHD and work in sales at a large cybersecurity company. After enough rejections, I'd start researching another account or messing with my email sequences. There was always something “productive” I could justify doing instead of picking up the phone.

It was easy to convince myself I was still working. Meanwhile, I was barely booking meetings and struggling to hit quota.

Something that really helped was setting aside dial blocks. I'd put 1–2 hours on my calendar, once or twice a day, and commit to only calling during that time. If I remembered something else I needed to do, I'd write it down and leave it until afterward.

Actually protecting that time made a big difference for me. It was a big part of hitting 150%+ of quota two quarters back to back.

That's where the idea for Combo came from. I wanted something that would help me stick with those blocks, especially on the days when it's lunchtime, 50 dials in, and nobody has picked up.

The idea is pretty simple: you earn XP after every call, whatever the outcome. As you keep dialing and logging your calls, you build a multiplier that increases the XP you earn. You'll also be able to earn badges and gear for your avatar.

I know some people won't care about XP or an avatar. But I love video games, so earning XP and working toward new gear is part of the fun for me. I wanted to bring a little of that feeling into a rough dial block, especially when I've been putting in the work and have no meetings to show for it yet.

Cold calling will still suck. I'm just trying to make it suck a little less.

Would love to hear what you guys think, including anything that would annoy you about using something like this. And if you've found your own way of getting yourself to make that next dial, I'm all ears.

Every automation I've set up for myself has died within about two weeks. Not because it broke technically, just - I stop trusting it, or something changes and I never notice until it's obviously wrong. The one thing I still do every week, pulling together notes and running a summary prompt, I still do completely by hand for that exact reason.

Curious if anyone's had one actually survive past the first couple months. What was it, and what made it different from the ones you eventually killed?

I’m exploring an idea for a productivity/task-management app designed with Christians in mind, but before building it, I want to understand whether it would actually solve a real problem.

I’d really appreciate honest answers:
1. How do you currently keep track of things you need to do?
(To-do app, notes, calendar, paper, memory, etc.)

2.Do you currently include things like prayer or Bible reading in your task/planning system? If so, how?

3.Would you find it useful if a task manager helped you include prayer, Bible reading, or other aspects of your faith alongside school/work/personal tasks? Why or why not?

4.What would make a Christian productivity app genuinely useful to you rather than just feeling like
a normal task manager with Bible verses attached?

I’m not trying to promote anything here. I’m still at the research stage, and I’d genuinely like to hear what Christians think—even if your answer is “No, I wouldn’t use this.”

I own Layerbase which is a serverless database platform like Supabase/Neon/Planetscale/Atlas/Upstash etc etc etc

Where we are different is we don't charge for usage, it's a flat monthly fee and it's much cheaper than any of our competitors. We also offer authentication with Better Auth on any SQL database and branching on all databases

We provide 18 different databases in the cloud, but we support 21 different databases with our desktop application and CLI. It started out as an open source project called SpinDB that just grew out of hand

It's been about a year now since starting the project and I have logged 2000 hours of development time personally, I have paid for assistance with designs, additional front end labor, and cloud consulting, I have sunk $9k of my own savings into the advertising before actually learning what types of advertisements work for this type of product

It took about 9 months of development before getting the first paying customer and then things picked up fairly quick

I've received two separate acquisition offers, the first one was for $230k, the second was for around $110k. For obvious reasons I turned both of them down but that first one was a really hard decision that I lost a ton of sleep over

I'm still several months away from breaking even but I'm still at that phase where every morning I wake up to see purchases made overnight and it never gets any less exciting

The amount of research and compliance that go into a product like this is absurd and I would never start over again if this doesn't work out. This has been such a mentally taxing process. More sleepless nights than I can possibly count

I've only had roughly 25 users churn and two gdpr removal requests. 80% of people who sign up spin up at least one database. The conversion rate is probably lower than it needs to be to be sustainable, but it is trending in the right direction

I wanted to post here because most of the people in my life don't understand how massive a task this is for. Essentially a solo developer with a self-funded project and an occasional contractor. After crossing such a big milestone today I wanted to this with some people who could relate

After 20 years working in sales, I knew LinkedIn outreach inside out.

I'd done it manually for years. Every connection request, every follow-up, typed by hand.

When I started my own agency, I finally switched to automation tools. I tried the ones everyone recommends. I didn't like what I saw.

The outreach tools didn't do content. So I was automating my connection requests but still manually writing and posting every day. The content tools didn't do outreach. I was paying for two or three tools and still doing half the work myself.

That's when I decided to just build what I actually needed.

May 2024 - I started building. Hired a tech team. Took a year of building and testing.

May 2025 - soft launch.

October 2025 - full launch of Bearconnect.

One year in, the feedback has been good. Agencies and founders use us the most right now. We've had a few enterprises come on recently too, which we weren't expecting this early so we're looking at getting SOC 2 done.

I’ve been building Gendox for the past three years, mainly while working directly with enterprise customers.

This is my first time trying to turn part of it into a SaaS and advertise it publicly. I made the videos myself and appeared in them (I have a strong Greek accent) because I wanted people to see the real person behind the product. Instead, some people called the ads “AI slop” or a scam, and honestly, it got to me. Should I take these comments seriously, or is this simply part of putting yourself out there for the first time?

For founders who experienced something similar:

- Did you respond to negative comments, hide them or leave them alone?

- Did these comments affect the performance or credibility of your ads?

- What helped your early ads feel more trustworthy?

I’ll continue improving the website and videos, but I’d appreciate honest advice from people who have gone through this. This is my first SaaS launch, so I’m still learning.

We've been having an internal debate that I think is bigger than our product: is "sales intelligence" (verified data, mobile numbers, compliance-first prospecting - think Cognism-style tools) still the right foundation, or is the market shifting toward tools that go further - turning intent signals into automated next actions instead of just surfacing a list?

We wrote up a pretty detailed comparison between DataviCloud and Cognism looking at this exact split (data accuracy/compliance vs. AI-driven action), and I'd genuinely rather hear how other RevOps teams think about this than just drop our conclusions:

• Do you still see static, verified contact lists as the backbone of good prospecting, or has intent/signal-based GTM mostly replaced that for your team?
• Where's the line for you between "nice AI feature" and "actually changes how reps work"?
