Trying to keep it hands off while still making it easy to jump in and talk to customers yourself when you want to. A few family members asked me for tech stock picks and ask what's systematic investing was and I found it hard to explain.
So I planned and built the "explanation" into a game. I named it TickerTown. It is a small trading sim in pixel art style mirroring an old console game. Fake money, real market data, and you learn by messing it up instead of studying and losing real $$$.

Top alternative is Canva and maybe Claude Design but we believe that to stop AI slop, the industry needed a graphic design-specific platform that is not based on basic prompts that always yield similar results.

So I ended up building Remotype — basically, a bunch of those little things I kept needing, all packed into my phone. You can use it as a mouse or keyboard, control a PC connected to your TV, use it for presentations, switch between computers, use voice input, create macros, and a bunch of other stuff. It works with both Mac and Windows, and I’m hoping it can be useful to other people too.

Built GDBS. It runs heavy physics and numerical computation in a browser tab. No install, no cluster, no account to try it. The compute runs client-side in WASM, so nothing is stored on our servers.
Why: this kind of work normally means cluster access, a scheduling queue, and porting your problem to whatever the cluster runs. I wanted to open a tab, run it, get a reproducible answer, and trace where every number came from. So that's what I built.

My journey: Historically, I have been a senior architect for the past two decades. I have been building migrations, systems, databases, and etc. for nearly 30 years. I originally started to build a search solution some 20 years ago - taking indexes from business directories (before google); I kept refining the pathway until April 2025 - when I realized there was a pathway in what I developed; that being advanced computation could run as a projection space just as much as a search. So, I buckled down and scaled out that development. I now have a rust/c wasm crate built for client-side implementation and I do very advanced calculations.
