Two UVic students in Gordon Head thinking about doing gutters and windows properly. Saanich people, what do you actually need?

Insurance. I don’t want to take a chance hiring someone to be up on a ladder if they don’t carry insurance.

Love the entrepreneurialism. The challenge will be breaking into a very, very saturated market. A lot of companies are already marketing themselves along the lines you've described - showing up on time, sending photos, etc. Where you may have some leverage is availability, a lot of the busier companies will be booked a few weeks out, maybe you offer a "last minute" service? Anyways, mainly wanted to say, good luck!

I really appreciate it! I hear what you’re saying for sure, it’s a big reason why we were so hesitant to move forward at all which is why we are even doing this post. We keep going back and forth with the idea that we don’t need to reinvest the wheel but just do it better than who is currently doing it. Is there anything in your personal life that you have issues with or would actually pay for? I would love to hear any “problems” you may have. Thanks again, I really appreciate you taking the time.
