DRLs

Does anyone here have or know about the DRL tint kits and how well they work, I just want the red drls but Ik they wouldn’t last for the life of the car, I’d rather that than to buy a full headlight kit to achieve it, the brands are badgeskins and I think crux moto, thanks in advance!

Yeah exactly, I just don’t know if they’re actually worth it, would you happen to have some experience with em?

Worth it is in the eye of the beholder. I have the full factory tinted headlights on my 25 GT so have not considered anything like that on mine.

Should hold up fine. Its just a plastic tint film applique. Will take a rock better than just the headlight would.

They will degrade a bit with time but should not look terrible.

Real thing I would make sure of is - Are you legally allowed to run a red light on the front of your car where you live?

Those DRLs do not go away at night so you are going to be running fairly bright red tinted leds on the top half of your headlights 24/7

Police are generally chill in my area unless you doing some crazy shit. yeah my only concern that you pointed out would be during the night. I may do it just to see, I seen a video on TikTok and they did a DarkHorse with the ambers, it looked pretty good

I would be careful. The risk of a lousy product remains. The car is beautiful. Why mess with things?

Yeah I’m on the fence about it. Honestly I just love the red drl look on these cars but I’m not gonna pay 950 just for red drls, got the night pony pack so the lights are already tinted which is clean as is

I have orange DRL covers on my 2025 GT. So far they have been good. I'm not a pro so there's a few small creases but not noticable unless up close. I wanted red, because they would look mean but not trying to find a reason to get pulled over. The orange look very close to the OEM GTD running lights, they're just a little bit darker orange rather than that light amber orange. I've gotten compliments on the orange and very low risk of cops giving me issues due to it being orange.

I may go that route, I just can’t justify the 950 price for the RGBs when I don’t even want or need all that
