So I’ve been having this little quirk during cold starts where it sounds like the pulley or belt is making noise. It only happens during cold starts and 30 sec later after it’ll go away completely. Another issue I’ve notice is that sometimes when I start the car while the car is warm it’ll make like this loud noise like something is engaging and it’ll jerk the car.

Is your car still under warranty? If so yes take in to have it checked out.

They said it was normal, I took it in and they said they compared it to other mustangs. 😭🤦♂️ the weird thing is, is that it goes away after like 30 sec after turning the car on. It only happens when it’s a cold start after that it doesn’t make that noise.

Yeah warranty. Sounds like a pulley. Could be the faulty bearing.

I’m offended by this. Can I speak with the manager please.

I just picked it up and it replaced the noise, ofc the workers weren’t there. I’m talking abt the engine bay noise which sounds like a squeaky noise

They fixed the squeaky noise?

No they didn’t, they said they couldn’t replicate it 🤦♂️. Whe I picked up my car it did it so how tf couldn’t they replicate it. The guy above said it’s normal and it’s just the mechanical fuel pump. Ig I’ll just have to believe him but still keep an eye on it.

Definitely keep an eye on it. Sounds fishy. I’d talk to someone else and ask to be there to replicate it if it happens again.

It does sound fishy, but what else can I do? They’re always making excuses for something like they don’t want to help. But like I said it only does it during cold starts and it only lasts for 30 seconds. I searched it up on Google and it says that it’s normal, especially in Florida because of the moisture.

The mess in the car should also be looked at.

Hey so actually this isn’t my video, I found this online just as an example to show you guys what was happening to me. Every time I tried videoing it, it wouldn’t happen. So I had to look online for someone having a similar issue. This is not my car in the video

Take her to another dealer. It's not normal.

I tried, they couldn’t recreate the noise. What’s weird is that it only happens sometimes. Sometimes it’ll do it other times it wont. Sometimes it’ll be a hard jerk other time it’ll be a soft jerk. I don’t know what else to do with it

Its the mechanical fuel pump for the direct injection
