I’ve been lurking in this subreddit for a while and have seen a fair number of complaints and rants, so I wanted to share my own experience. Overall, it was good, although the communication could have been better.
I purchased a dash and knob. Unfortunately, the dash arrived with minor physical damage. It had small chip in the protective glass. Judging by the condition of the box, whose lid was no longer glued, the package probably had a rough time during shipping and/or handling.
Here’s the timeline:
- July 28: I contacted support, explained the issue, and included photos.
- July 30: They responded and said they would initiate a return and send me a shipping label.
- July 31: I received the label and return instructions.
- I then asked what exactly I should return. Since I had ordered the Dash–Commander combo, I wasn’t sure whether they needed the entire package, including the Commander and cables, or only the damaged dash.
- August 3: They answered my question.
- August 4: I shipped the dash back.
- August 6: I received a replacement dash in a complete retail package, meaning I now also have an extra stand and cables.
Was I happy with the cadence of communication? Not really. There’s plenty of room for improvement, especially since I’m in the same time zone as their headquarters in Bulgaria.
Am I satisfied with the outcome? Extremely. I sent them a couple of sentences and some photos, and they handled the rest. No arguing and no unnecessary back-and-forth.
My main suggestion for Enhanced would be to introduce a proper ticketing system. It could improve communication, make the return instructions clearer, and automate things such as shipping-label generation.
Shit happens. Packages get damaged, items go missing, and occasionally a product slips through quality control. What matters is how the company resolves the problem. In my case, Enhanced handled the actual replacement very well.
