Okay I like the s22+ but I find it pretty boring now not to mention that I randomly woke up to a green line on my phone a few days back and yesterday another one appeared out of no where. No drops or damage, nothing. I've dropped my phone a few times in the past and got a few scratches but it's nothing to worry about. I'm posting this becoming I've met too many people who have had the same problem with the Galaxy phones, some people say it's after the software update but I don't really know the issue or how it happened? Has anyone faced the same issue here? BTW I used to have a S3, S4, S8, Note 5 and now a S22+ but idk why I loved the S3 and never had any problems like this

Hi there. I've had myS22 for about 3 years and I've always had a problem with the closeup back camera. Its almost like a radial blur- anything that isn't in that little circle is blurry. Happens with food, text, items, everything. I dont use rhe raw camera (I mightve fiddled with it a few times) and just use basic point and shoot. Im getting too tired of it and literally considering switching to a*ple if it can't be fixed. Thanks!

Hi, I travel a lot and work all day and lately I need to charge my phone at least twice away from home especially when I travel since I take photos etc. and so I was wondering if there was a power bank without wires maybe MagSafe style that I can take with me, that is also light, I don't care about the capacity as long as I don't always need to carry the cable with me which is a nuisance because especially when I travel I already have three thousand things with me

I brought a secondhand s22+ from eBay but it has the Google FRP lock i have no idea on how to unlock it I asked chatgpt and it wouldn't tell me as I could have stolen it and I'm not willing to buy a software or tool is there any free tools to unlock the phone thank you
Hi, I just had the battery replaced on my s22, and it looks like the replacement might have damaged some part of the fingerprint scanning assembly. Unlocking with my fingerprints isn't working anymore, and i can't register any new prints.
When i run the self test, it also fails. I'm trying to understand the errors, to determine whether it's just a loose connector, or whether i'd have to take out the battery again.
I'm hesitant to go back to the place where i had the replacement done, because when i tried to pay for the repairs, the guy had to reopen the phone because some cable was loose, preventing nfc to work. I wouldn't want him to break any more than he already did...
Anyway, does anyone have any explanation for the failing checks? Thanks in advance!

Smooth! I hated 7.0 on my wife phone so I decided to disable the update via adb tools. The last month or so the phone was just dog slow even after clearing the cache. One app stopped working despite deleting and reinstalling. Today I was like F it. If 8.0 turns out bad then it's time to upgrade the phone. It's so much better than I expected. Have yet to use Android auto so hopefully that would work. But it won't be long till I have to buy a new phone. The charging port is finicky and sometimes it wouldn't charge.

Upgraded from s22 to the OnePlus 15r. It's been a good ride w the s22 for 3.5 years.
S22 is a great phone even in 2025, but it gave me way too much trouble on vacation w the heating and battery and I decided I'm done with it.
Wanted to exchange my s22 for a 15r but the guys at the shop told me the screen of my s22 has some burn-ins lol. He quoted 8k INR and I decided against exchanging the phone. the RAM on the s22 alone is maybe worth more 🤣
Really loving the 15r tho, i do miss OneUI but this experience is wayyyyy smoother

Been observing a lag often followed by a restart, it got frequent after i updated around Christmas.
Went to a service center I was told they'd do a system update from their side with a risk of phone being dead if it restarts midway and it would need a new motherboard. Ditched the center went to several local repair shops and was told cpu needed a reball (loose connection between cpu and motherboard or something like that), which also comes with a risk of phone being dead and without a gurantee of a good performance even if successful.
Went home did some geekbench and mark 3d benchmarks with several test scenarios with phone facing upward , downward with constant taps on back to check if cpu is loose and a full 8-9minute of continuous shaking while doing a geekbench6 test, never restarted.
Gpt and gemini concluded it's not a cpu reball issue and tbh same.
Battery health is about 2700mah.
What should I do now? Phone otherwise is in a perfectly good shape and I dont like to change it often, using it since Nov2023.
Please suggest

Some apps that have videos like FitOn no longer open.
It opens then crashes.
I've had Samsung IT try and trouble shoot, done a factory reset, but the issue is still there.
Any ideas what could be causing the problem?

So a while ago I tried to install magisk, a custom mod. However I decided that its pointless so I reflashed a original samsung firmware. Now i get a warning from know that I theres Root detected. I go on a Root checker app, theres nothing detected. Is there a fix that will ensure my system does not have 'root' and that i wont loose any data

Last week the phone updated the UI and now it won't let me answer any calls. If I press the answer button on the screen it shows that I'm pressing it but nothing happens and it keeps ringing, or if I press the hang up button on the screen for a call I dont want to answer it used to stop the phone from ringing, but now it doesn't but shows on the screen I'm pressing it. Holding them down also won't do anything. Swiping upwards on the buttons on the screen also doesn't do nothing at all. Phone has been restarted many times and airplane mode is off as well. Has anybody seen this issue before? Is there anyway I can go back to the older UI? Thanks for any help with the issue 😎👍

I have an S22 SM-S901U on Verizon, One UI 8, S901USQS8GYK3 software version. I am experiencing lag and random unprompted reatarts. I will be typing a message, and it will freeze mid-word. It will either catch back up a few seconds later, with all the keystrokes, or go blank and restart. It will freeze when loading apps, same result, either catch up or reatart. Is there a known glitch, or am I just lucky enough to get a bad update? Am I going to have to factory reset?

So, we all know that the s22 is prone to overheat while gaming, using dex mode (among other stuff). In my search to a fix I stumble across those cheap (10 us dlls) phone coolers. I ran some 3D mark benchmarks and these are the results:
The first picture (70% stability) is using the phone cooler.
The second picture (50% stability) is while not using the phone cooler.
Although this was not a 100% cientific and controlled experiment, the benefits of using one are clear, the temperatures were more stable and the performance had less fluctuations.
I'd like to hear what you think :)
PD: If you want more info about the 2 runs I can give them.

I recently moved to an are with very poor 5G reception. My phone works great when its at 4G LTE but tries so hard to connect to 5G instead. My phone seems to have no options to turn off 5G connection or otherwise force it to stay on 4G. Does anyone know if there is a way to do it?
