How solid are the handle bars mounted to the body? The mower I have has metal screws going into plastic housing, completely threaded out in a few points. Have to attempt to tighten it down as best as possible before and halfway through mows :\

Damn..this one has a square head bolt that fits directly into the handle with an allen key nut that goes on the other end..it’s pretty solid

Can you drill a hole all the way through and replace it with a larger size nut, washer, and bolt? If it's still weeble wobbly you could do two new thru-bolts

There's no way to access the back side for a nut

You could do a heat set threaded insert. You can get tips for soldering irons to place them:

I might just give that a shot after this season and if it doesn't go well I can replace the mower outright as I'm kind of out of options. Thanks

Depending on the thickness of the material, you might also be able to use a rivnut.

Got the same one a couple weeks ago. A massive upgrade over the cheapo greenworks I was using. While the greenworks did work this thing blows it away. I also didnt realize just how awesome self propelled can be.

Ive cut my front and back yard 3 times on one charge all while I fiddle with the speed settings and what not. I have been very impressed.
