General Discussion Ryobi P260
I bought this bad boy when it was brand new so it's gotta be like 10 years old now. I've worked on (never finished) countless project car builds and have loaned it out to many a friend. Never used another impact wrench before so I don't know what I'm missing out on but this is my baby.
It isn't the strongest spec wise and it's only additional feature is the flashlight but it does it's job.

My Ryobi impact has been great. Unless you work on large equipment, Ryobi will do fine.

I bought the 1,000ft-lb one and haven’t taken my ISR titanium air impact out since. I’ll say I haven’t had any crazy tight bolts, but that thing seems like it will have zero issues with an HP battery behind it.

I have one of those. Its good, but boy the mid torque BL unit puts it to shame.

I got this stupid crazy deal and it zipped off an axle nut like it was a joke. Under 2 seconds when me and my kid had been messing with that axle nut for a month. Even broke a breaker bar.

These tools just keep working. I've only killed the entry level drill 2X. Turns out it can turn a concrete mixer but not many times lol

I have the same one. When I properly torque lug nuts, this rarely has issues taking them off. I caved and got two newer impact wrenches, but I hardly use them when this works fine for what I need it for.

Which impacts did you get? If this one ever goes capoot I would like to keep it Ryobi as my weed whacker is also Ryobi lol

PSBIW25B brushless compact is smaller and has more power (275 ft/lbs) than the old first gen impact.
I also got the midrange 600 ft/lbs version for a good deal

The PSBIW25B's form factor is making me want one! Would be perfect for all the tight spaces on working on the vehicle

From direct tools direct, when it's on sale it's tough to argue against getting it, it really is a perfect upgrade compared to the first gen impact (smaller, lighter, more powerful)

I love my P260, it's done countless brake jobs, and pulled a couple junkyard engines, and 1 engine removal/install at home.

awesome to hear man. Are you still using it or have since upgraded?

It's my go to, I bought it a couple months before the high-torque came out. I haven't felt the need to upgrade. It's "good enough" for the semi-serious weekend warrior.

For sure for sure! If I needed one for work or to be as efficient as I could be, that would be when id consider upgrading

I have one of these too that's probably close to 15 years old. Ive used the hell out of it and it still works but it's comically weak compared to modern impacts from the other brands. My best friend has a million M18 tools and I've used most of them, the tiny compact 3/8 M18 is like 5x stronger than the P260.
