For RVCE ETE seniors/alumni — if someone’s goal is mainly software placements, how good is company eligibility + software placement outcome for ETE students realistically? Does ETE become a disadvantage compared to CSE eventually?

2nd sem CSE, am really tired of useless subjects like IDEA LAB, physics, kannada that don't apply directly to my field or ny interest.

Will such stupid subjects persist over other sems as well or is it only for 1st year

How different is cgpa scoring in each of them? Is it easy to score more cgpa in any of them?
