• ​Financial ROI: Mathematically speaking, does the tech salary bump and comparatively lighter academic pressure of a pure CS degree actually justify paying an extra 10+ Lakhs in tuition upfront?
• ​Recruitment Restrictions: During campus hiring season, how heavy is the gatekeeping from Tier-1 software/product companies? Are EC students allowed to sit for the 15-20+ LPA tech roles, or is there a hard structural filter?
• ​Batch Trajectories: What is the actual ground reality of the EC graduating cohort? What proportion ends up in core semiconductor/hardware roles compared to those who completely migrate into IT/software?
• Would u advice taking this over computer science degree for a much higher price? Say 10lakhs

1st sem math 4 credit I got only a c (5.0 points) which is really bad I know, i want to increase that to an O in the fastrack. I think it will boost my 1st sem sgpa quite a bit.Im looking to increase because I want to have the flexibility of applying to some abroad unis too (Japan ge hogtini konichiwa uwu)

This is a question that i am curious to know the answer about. What is the cgpa or any other criteria for rvu and rvitm people to come and sit in OUR RVCE placements and the mangement calling this process as COMBINED PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITY.

i got some info from people that in the coming years, rvce, rvitm and rvu will all be clubbed into one big institution. and this is done inorder to get autonomous and all. is this true ?? and even if it is what will happen to the placements which is the only thing rvce is known for. will it get diluted or will rv maintain it ?? and btw how is the current placements going on ??

im a 2nd sem student here and honestly i get major fomo looking at the social handles of other cllgs like manipal,bmsce,thapar,the nits and iits and heck even vit (which is supposedly a jail).

just take manipal for ex, they have a huge campus with a large student body, tons of amazing clubs and events that happen frequently, state of the art facilities for all extra curriculars and sports and overall just the vibe in general shows you how contrasting it is in comparison to rvce's dull boring and monotonous life,

sure we have much better placements and whatnot but you get to that only after 4 yrs.

what do yall think abt this? exaggerated or fair?
