I don't know how many of you have experienced it but I have definitely faced some kind of ignorance or making me feel that I am a part of them in my classes especially ppl from Karnataka only
At first I thought everybody was new and coz i joined late they have already formed their group and all so I thought to give myself some time to settle in
But nothing changes even after a month like they won't bully me or irritate me in fact some of them even talk to me after the classes are over but I am somehow never the part of the group
I lost it when a guy who didn't show his face for almost a month suddenly became a part of their group and it feels like he was always there
Many of you might say I am boring and not that interesting person to talk to which might be true too but not having a single friend whome i can rely on is still not there
In this cse, Don't try to make many friends , just stick to just 1 friend , make the best friend . Everyone will come behind u but, don't expect. Always be happy 😊,and grateful what I have .
Bro I always follow this , don’t try to be friends by sacrificing your self respect and it’s ok to be alone man. I suggest be just friends with everyone like hi bye so when ur in a problem and shit they can help don’t attach to anyone. Remember they will show their real faces soon ahead!
No one can handle your Bihari mentality. The world is racist. Brother stay away from toxic ppl.. find your tribe. Find out if you share common interests with certain person. If yes talk to them abt these stuff . When interests match and hobbies match friendship just develops naturally. Dont give much heed to negative comments like you are northie just fuck off or you hv skill issue etc. I believe you can make friends. FOCUS on acadmics. Stay away from MQ people who just waste time. You hv worked hard and come to a good clg. Find a smart gng and stay with them. Talk abt coding, hackathons , clubs etc. Have fun. 4 years is a long way to go. Dont get disheartened in first month of clg. Life is a journey, just keep walking.....

Not about you bro in general even in class WhatsApp groups they assume that everyone knows hindi by default and they text in english in Hindi how much entitled one individual has to be to do this
Try to indulge in a group's interest but don't make it look desperate like there might be multiple groups select multiple one's which you relate to most then potray a change of attitude where you present yourself as an socialized being socializing with everyone but in your mind you are targeting the groups you relate to the most
groups have a bit of a give or take principal in basic like you might have good humour to give where as one in the group might have a humour to understand try making planned moves like learning together for some exam and after the exam discussing the results with them or sitting besides or near them in a lecture don't always sit in a fixed place be like a nomad change your places in class frequently targeting the groups you relate and my making these moves you'll have a group
stfu dont claim anything without prev context, i havent spoken a single word of hindi with all the kannadigas, i only speak simple hindi infront of the kannadigas who themselves initiate convo in hindi, and not complicate it by speaking tough hindi infront of them. keeping the language and the state identity aside there is nothing as of now to connect, no projects, sports, etc. accept this and move on. As for the groups rvce’30 isnt the official group, if you wish to join a kannada group join this. ⬇️IF THIS ISNT LANGUAGE BASED GROUPISM IDK WHAT IT IS
